Give me a chance to hold on

My sore throat arrived at a convenient time that I was going back to Gullane so I could at least see a doctor as this wasnt a normal sore throat. Yup, prescribed penicillin. Fucking £7 for a prescription. I pay enough National Insurance thank you very much.

The joys of seeing my step father trot in looking ever so pleased that his power caddy can carry his golf clubs and all things golfy along with the additional weight of 8 cans of Stella.

My patience was tested to the limit as I battle with the sewing machine as my fever rose and throat burned. Job done though.

Went outside before the sewing machine went out and spent time with our tortoise.

Returned to Edinburgh to find the whole city was out in force. Yes, the sunshine does do that to us Scot's. Pale legs and dodgy fake tan ahoy.

A nice mix of old friends at new up Calton Hill to celebrate Beltane. Taking Dougaldutch on magical mystery tours to enjoy the evening sun.

Today I had to write in boxes about my so called career. After a 2 hour chat with my boss I came out smiling as it wasnt half as bad as I had imagined. Perks of working in training are certainly showing. Also the fact I cant seem to do any wrong is pleasing.

Forgotten extra charge for my trip to London only slightly spoilt my day.

Father is stressed to the max and looking to me once again. This time its financial,he wants to go to Tokyo...on my credit card. Hmmm...

Right, must have a look at what I need for the weekend. Its been a fucking long time coming!
