Woohoo...week over with

In the world of me its been a bit of a nightmare this week for various reasons. So I have decided that on my wander home tonight I'm stopping at an internet cafe to have wee rant on my blog since I have not had access for a while.

It's like therapy man.

So I moved into The Ranch last weekend. Everything is running smoothly apart from some major issues around the hot water and heating areas. But really, it' going good. We have new carpet, new beds and I'm looking forward to treating myself to a new duvet set. The first in 4 years.
It's strange, I got thrown out of my last flat and I really never heard from anyone. This time everyone is taking an active interest in my house move. Eh why?

So the new flat mates......flatties? House mates? Hommies?....yes hommies it is.
I get on great with them. It's all a bit of a coincidence how I came about living with them.
Mother and Daughter. Daughter (Hazel) who I knew of at school back in the Borders and Mother (Shauna) who I sit opposite at work and realised that our paths had crossed years ago.

We have lived life. We have all had a lot thrown at us and we have an amazing support thing going on. Shauna may have been first to christen the flat by smoking but I was certainly the first chick in this house hold to sob into her pillow last night. I thought I had had this little cry to myself in secret but clearly not when there was a knock on my bedroom door to find a cuppa and some herbal remedy.

Father was the cause of my tears. It just hurts.

So there is a gathering planned at The Ranch tonight. It is clear that the thoughts of a small gathering between myself and my other hommies are completely different. Rearranging furniture and arranging chill out rooms wasn't in my thoughts for a small gathering. So far there will be 30 people. However Shauna informed me that they are all here to entertain us since we are the ones who are tired and have the new pad. That worries me even more.
But maybe I'm wrong. God help me but I certainly will meet more people.

In a simple round up I just want to get the practical issues of moving house out the way as I'm like a bull at a gate in regards to all things Burney. Soooo much to do and (really) there is so little time.

Enjoy the weekend.
