Your Penis Name Is...

Bavarian Beefstick

Runny nose

Today my boss only spoke to me through a rolled up people management magazine. Quite ironic I think. Slightly annoying but at least it made him smile. Been having a wee tough time dear work husband so I will continue to let him take the piss out of me/throw stuff at me/use all my staples and pile them on my desk etc etc.

Confirmed today that I will be taking part in my very first industrial action next wednesday. Im really going to miss the money that will be docked this month but it must be done. I cant cross the picket of the union I got involved in picking up the pieces of.

The weekend caused me to have a nice blister on my left index finger due to my excess knitting. I'm determed to finish this ball of wool and took every spare oppertunity to get my knitting fix. Although tension clearly too tight.

I also manged to slice my finger open with a nail file.....twice.

I played accomodation host to Dougal and a mate who were visiting Edinburgh. Antics in the friendly-behind-bars -kinda-way off licence was had. Finding out if she was a Lambrini girl and suggesting alcohol brands to Americans who dont really know what they got themselves in for when purchasing a 3ltr bottle of frosty Jack cider. Excellent customer service was had with the Scottish selection of alcohol. I drew the line at Buckfast and being told they dont even bother to put the above cider on the shelf as they sell so much of the stuff. Brilliant.

Scored a $195 ticket for Burning Man and very happy to hear others did too.

Booked flights for said event.

Went to opticians....getting more blind

P.S Captain! Your Sargent really needs a word......sweetheart pick up your phone x

Start with a song

So my blog has been used for the last couple of months to either put photos up to prove I'm not dead or rattle on about something really quite trivial. So this now can be a bit of both...

So its a new year....all the best and that malarky. First day back at work after the New Year today and didnt exactly start off feeling all fresh and revived. Very shouty boss and another off ill. Saviour was a 3pm finish. I was this close to walking out. Making me doubt my new masterplans concerning my ahem career.

Im not one for resolutions but I have started (yes the wheeels are in motion) dealing with the long list of changes/improvements that must be made in my life. The first one up is that old favourite...family. I have found a solution to the problem which could turn out to be the best thing I can do or of course the worst. Time will tell, well end of January actually.

The Ranch is sometimes not a happy place to live.

I'm giving up smoking weed during the week. Starts next Monday of course.

I'm seeing a rather nice boy who I look forward to hanging out with on our working v's student lifestyles. Or did I just jinx it?........

House Muva bought me a happy spotty black and white (classy) teapot.

An alternative Christmas day was had after the parentals dropping me back home early afternoon (declining the offer to stay for a drink....not that it was Christmas or anything) to pull huge home made crackers made by Shauna's brother's boyfiend Rick which contained many a suprise gift and we raced our balloons down the street. Rick turned out to be an amazing photographer and abstract artist. I took a real shinning to one of his prints and in my genuine however wasted interest asked for a copy. One was granted in exchange for some random gift however 2 more days of nonsence ment and the deal wasnt done. I will however try and get his email and work something out.

Even though Ben smashed sprouts with a hammer we had a beautiful dinner followed by much excitement in using the new tea pot.

Our visitors had brought some delightful substances and used up all my owed wasted phone calls to Dougal as I lock myself in my room to listen to Faithless to escape from the intense family chat that was going on downstairs.

Boxing Day the Duvet Day. Managed to get dressed only after realising in my wasted state that Dougal was coming to visit and we rule at Cranium. Nice to see a bit of family at Christmas.

Back to work. Office parties. Offering my boss 'boob sweat'.

Hogmanay = Wild weather and lots of walking. House party with good drum and bass DJ and a gold dust and a big new-year-treat-to-myself taxi home.

New Years day was spent raking leaves from the decking and drinking lots of tea. Some things never change but here's to 2007. Cheers!
