Sunshine

A very nice weekend was had.

A rather frustrating start on Friday when the public transport didnt work to my plans but I didnt mind too much. The sun brings out everyone and I had plenty to look at.

Came home to find we have 2 new additions to The Ranch by Hazel. A guinea pig and a white rabbit. Given by a gay couple who bathed and groomed them to perfection before handing them over. How lovely. The rabbit is a bit of a ninja and the guinea pig is just a big pussy.

Encounters with a 'man and his van' to move the rest of Shauna's belonging which where out on the street due to her very messy divorce. The 'man and his van' was, according to his stories a very famous artist and was going to Kentucky next week to sell his pantings of race horses and of course since he is an artist he has had many women.

Saturday night was spent meeting many a wasted person who had taken full advantage of the BBQ that had kicked off in the early afternoon and now 9pm. Lovely host and a tropical theme.
Shanua and I being very scared when a guy, in silence removed his brother from the room after just handing over a picture he had been drawing for the last 20 minutes.
Meeting lots of Claire's.
Dragon fruits.
Tea bag shortage and the need to bring emergency supplies.
Watching doll like figures swan about.
Beautiful beds.
A very loud actor.

Despite seeing sunrise I had a productive day. After watching the walking wounded staggering home from where ever they had been on the bus an understanding hairdresser figured out random pointings and my hair and sorted out the hair doo.
Made bracelets in the garden.
Scribbled masterplans.
House Mother preparing a beautiful Sunday roast after our cream tea in the afternoon. Shauna wore her hat and I wore Turtle's gifted scarf.

It was almost the perfect weekend.
